The next New York Fashion Week takes place from September 9 to September 14 and the CFDA, in collaboration with IMG, has revealed the official schedule.
Designers will present their Spring/Summer 2023 designs this season. Even though the calendar is chock with incredible talent, we’re most looking forward all of the Black designers who will be showcasing.
Find out below when and which Black fashion designers will present during NYFW.
No Sesso
On September 9, the Los Angeles-based fashion brand led by Pia Davis and Autumn Randolph will travel back to New York City to open the first day of NYFW with a fashion presentation. Earlier this year, No Sesso had its FW22 fashion presentation in New York City.
Fe Noel
On September 9, Felisha Noel, founder and designer of Fe Noel and a finalist for the 2022 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, will hold a fashion show.
Todd Patrick
The co-founders of the upscale menswear company, Desyree Nicole and Gabriella Paulino, who are based in Atlanta, Georgia, will debut at New York Fashion Week on September 9 to present the newest collection.
AnOnlyChild
On September 10, the recently established premium company, founded and run by Maxwell Osborne, co-founder of Public School, will present at NYFW for the second time. AnOnlyChild debuted last September with an off-site fashion show in Mount Vernon, New York.
Victor Glemaud
On September 10, the brand's fashion presentation will be emceed by knitwear legend Victor Glemaud.
Sergio Hudson
A favorite of NYFW, Hudson's namesake label focuses on creating glitzy clothing to empower women and make them feel seductive. This season, the brand will present a fashion show on September 10.
Studio 189
On September 11, Rosario Dawson and Abrima Erwiah's fashion lifestyle company, which is made in Africa, will be back at New York Fashion Week to stage a fashion show.
Who Decides War
On September 11, the streetwear company Ev Bravado and Téla D'Amore founded and created will return to New York Fashion Week to conduct a fashion show. The brand had its fashion show last September on the Intrepid, a WWII aircraft ship that has been converted into a museum.
Connor McKnight
On September 11, at NYFW, the eponymous label McKnight founded during the pandemic will premiere with a runway presentation.

On September 11, the upscale menswear brand Shawn Pean created will stage a fashion show. Pean hosted the firm's inaugural runway show earlier this year at NYFW.
ASHYA
Ashley Cimone and Moya Annece's luxury accessory design company, which is inspired by travel and intellectual curiosity, will give a NYFW presentation on September 11 that can be attended by appointment.
Dur Doux
Dur Dox, run by mother-daughter team Cynthia and Najla Burt, will return to NYFW on September 12 to present a fashion show and display a fresh womenswear collection.
Laquan Smith
On September 12, Smith will host a fashion show at NYFW once more. Smith hosted the first fashion show on the top of the Empire State Building in September of last year, making NYFW history.
Black Boy Knits
By appointment only on September 12, the innovative knitwear company, founded and created by 2022 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Jacques Agbobly, will display its new collection.
Sukeina
On September 13, Omar Salaam's opulent womenswear line will conduct a presentation to mark its comeback to NYFW.
Kenneth Nicholson
On September 14, the eponymous brand, which pushes the limits of menswear, will return to NYFW.
Theophilio
Theophilio will return to New York Fashion Week on September 14 and conduct a fashion show under the direction and design of Edvin Thompson, the 2021 CFDA Emerging Designer of the Year.
Bed On Water
Creative Director Shanel Campbell established and oversaw the company. On September 14, Bed On Water will host its NYFW presentation, which can be seen by appointment.
