As AllBlk continues to push the boundaries with its content offerings, Nikki Love, SVP, Development & Production, said that "Hush personifies the enigmatic, captivating, and edgy programming our subscribers crave. We're thrilled to work with Angela Burt-Murray to produce this frantic, perceptive, risqué drama in keeping with our commitment to giving Black creatives a home both in front of and behind the camera.”

"The women of Hush are sexually empowered and driven to succeed at all costs," the series' creator and executive producer Burt-Murray continued. "From the therapist looking to write her comeback story and a desperate housewife fighting to save her family to the baller's wife playing with fire and a street-smart baddie making boss moves. I'm delighted that AllBLK embraced this brand-new, sexy drama with twists and turns about four strong women who will do anything to get what they want.”

Bree West and Chazitear wrote the script for Hush, which was also filmed in and around the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. OCTET Productions' Bree and Chuck West will serve as AllBlk's showrunners and executive producers alongside Brett Dismuke and Nikki Love.
