Palmer released a t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt that is emblazoned with the video caption “SORRY TO THIS MAN”, a reference to Dick Cheney.
In a video interview with Vanity Fair, Palmer was asked a series of questions where she was hooked up to a lie detector test. One of the questions entails former vice president Dick Cheney.
Here’s how she answered:
Lie Detector Administrator: “You started Nickelodeon’s True Jackson VP as True Jackson, VP, correct?
Palmer: “Yes, I did. I played True Jackson VP.”
Lie Detector Administrator: “Would you say that True Jackson was a better VP than Dick Cheney?”
Palmer: Who the hell is…yall are really testing me on some stuff. I hate to say it. I hope that I don’t sound ridiculous -- I don’t know who this man is. I mean, he could be walking down the street, and I wouldn’t know who this man is. Sorry to this man.”
Palmer’s response gained traction and quickly became the next social media phenomenon.
