The 58-member N.I.A.R.A. line -- Nandi Inspired AKAtects Reclamining Ascendancy -- recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, and it marked the milestone by partnering with beauty brand Lovengood Lips to release a hot pink, vegan lipstick that supports FAMU.
The collaboration - coined “The Beauty of Sisterhood” - has allowed the sisters “to bring ten years of HERstory full-circle, celebrating who we’ve become as women and the service impact we aspire to make for our ten-year celebration,” according to the brand’s website.
“My line sister saw it as an opportunity to support someone who looks like us and who is us,” said Decossard. “Everything we do connects back to her website and social media pages to spread awareness about her business.”
The Lip shade, “N.I.A.R.A.” is a true hot pink, ultra-matte, vegan and cruelty-free, and can be purchased for $12 USD. All proceeds of the stunning lip shade will be donated back to FAMU to fuel campus beautification, scholarships and FAMU women.
